07 Days Kerala Package: £ 295/- Itinerary: DAY 1: COCHIN On arrival at Cochin railway station/airport, the guest shall be received and shall drive down  to downtown cochin and check into THE WOODS MANOR. After relaxing for some time , they shall leave for  sight seeing to Fort cochin(the first European township in India ,which is now part of the world heritage zone).They shall see the famous chinese nets, St.Francis church((the first church build by the europeans,where Vasco da gama was buried), Santa cruz cathedral(one of the oldest catholic churches in india build by the Europeans) After that they would go to Jew town, where they could visit the  jewish synogogue(the only one in India and one of the oldest in the world) and  Dutch palace. They could also spend some time in the famous jew street and shop for sovenigners. After that they shall return to Ernakulam. Evening at leisure  They could rest and relax at the resort Night halt: THE WOODS MANOR , COCHIN DAY 2: MUNNAR After an early breakfast, at about 8.30 am, you shall check out of THE WOODS MANOR and shall straight away leave for Munnar, one of the most beauitful hill stations in South Asia. A haven of peace and tranquility, this popular tourist destination is set at an altitude of 6000 ft above sea level. Unending expanse of tea plantations, mist laden hillocks, pristine valleys and mountains, winding lanes, exotic species of flora and fauna, aroma of spice scented cool air, Lakes and Dams, MUNNAR was the summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in South India. On the way they shall stop for lunch and also at some beautiful spots for photographs.On arrival at Munnar, they shall check into AYUR COUNTY where a suite room shall be reserved.. Evening at leisure. Rest of the day they could relax and enjoy in the comforts of the resort.   Night halt: AYUR COUNTY , MUNNAR DAY 3: MUNNAR After breakfast at 9.30 am, you shall leave for a full day sight seeing to Eravikulam National park, Echo point(where you could also shop for some soveigners), Mattupetty ( where you could go for speed boating ),Top station and all other important and beautiful sight-seeing spots in and around Munnar depending on your time and convenience.You could also visit the Tata tea outlet and shop for various varities of tea(which is not available anywhere else in India ) and return to the resort before sunset. Enjoy the facilities available at the resort and retire for the day..                                     Night halt...MUNNAR DAY 4: THEKKADY After breakfast at about 8.30 am, you shall check out of AYUR COUNTY and shall drive down to thekkady and check into MICHEALS INN, where a deluxe room would be reserved. After lunch at about 3.00 pm,  the guests could go for boating(subject to it being operational and weather permitting) in the famous periyar wild life santuary(the biggest natural wild life santuary in india), where on most occassions, willd life could be observed and photographed at close quaters. After that they could go to see KALARIPAYTU, kerala's centuries old martial arts. Then they could take a round in the town and also shop for some spices as this is a very good place for the same. Later they would return to the resort and relax in the comforts of the resort. Night halt...MICHEALS INN, THEKKADY DAY 5: KUMARAKOM After breakfast at about 09.00 am , they shall check out of the MICHEALS INN and would  leave for kumarakam. On arrival, they shall check into ILLIKKALAM LAKE RESORT where one cottage would be reserved for them.Rest and relax for day and enjoy the beauty of this wonderful backwater destination on the banks of the vemband lake(the biggest natural lake in kerala). After lunch at about 4.00 pm, they could take a drive to kottayam town where they could visit some of the famous centuries old churches, do some shopping and then return to the resort and relax in the comforts of the resort. In case any one of you would like to have an ayurvedic massage, i would suggest they have it while they are here. NIGHT HALT : ILLIKKALAM LAKE RESORT DAY 6: AIR-CONDITIONED HOUSEBOAT After breakfast at about 11.00 am, you shall check out of PUZHAYORAM RESORTS and leave for Alleppey jetty to check into an  AIR- CONDITIONED HOUSEBOAT which would be exclusively reserved for the guests, for the most exciting and unique experience of cruising around the backwaters of kuttanad, the granary of kerala. The boat would cruise till about 5.45 pm and shall anchor for the day. the next morning the cruise would start once again at about 7.45 am and they shall check out at 09.00 am. The air-conditioners would be on from 09.00 pm till 06.00 am in the morning. While in the houseboat, they would be served with traditional kerala lunch, evening snacks, dinner and breakfast the next morning cooked on board by our experienced chef. NIGHT HALT : HOUSE BOAT. DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM COCHIN After breakfast at about 09.00am, they shall check out of the HOUSEBOAT and shall leave for Cochin railway station/airport for their return journey after a good, relaxed and enjoyable holiday in KERALA with good memories which they would cherish for sometime.
