Day {1} : Chennai

On arrival at Chennai to meet our rep who will assist you to transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day {2} : Chennai

After breakfast, to do a guided tour of Chennai which will include visits to Fort St. George, War memorial, St. Mary's Church, the Basilica of Saint Thomas, believed to have been built by St. Thomas, the apostle, Snake Park and by evening to go to the  Marina Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day {3} : Chennai – Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram :(175 Kms ; Approx 4 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram (1 hr.) the erstwhile capital of the Pallavas and Cholas. Visit the temples dedicated to various gods and goddesses. Also visit the shopping area, as it is also home of weavers of the famed Kanchipuram silks. Lunch at Kanchipuram. Evening drive to Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram), a world heritage site and check in hotel for overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.


Day {4} : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (134 Kms /Approx 3.5 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast to go for guided sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram, which, too was part of the Pallavas dynasty and exhibits some of the most outstanding examples of the Dravidian style of art and architecture. Experience the Arjuna’s Penance, the rock cut caves, the Krishna Mandapam, the famous rathas and the Shore Temple. Afternoon drive to Pondicherry and enjoy this quaint French town. Overnight at the hotel in Pondicherry.


Day {5} : Pondicherry

After breakfast to go for half a day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry and visit the Auroville and Aurobindo Ashram. Evening at leisure and night stay in Pondicherry.


Day {6} : Pondicherry – Tanjore :( 196 kms / Approx 5 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast, to go for full day guided sightseeing of the city including City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon-ki-Bari and a excursion to Eklingi, famous for its Jain temples. Overnight at the booked hotel in Tanjore.


Day {7} : Tanjore – Trichy - Madurai:( 198 Kms –Approx 5 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast, to visit the palace, which also houses an art gallery, a library, a hall of music and Church. By noon drive to Trichy (Tiruchirappalli). After lunch on way to visit to the Rockfort and Srirangam Temple. Proceed for Madurai and on arrival check-into the booked hotel. Enjoy the sound and light show at Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Overnight stay at the booked hotel in Madhurai.


Day {8} : Madurai – Thekkady (Periyar):( 140 Kms – Approx 3.5 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast, to go and visit the Meenakshi temple built in the Dravidian style and Teppa Kulu, a tank with an island temple. Evening drive to Thekkady in Kerala and check into booked  resort. Overnight at hotel in Thekkady.


Day {9} : Thekkady

After breakfast be at leisure to do own bits and also could go for boat safari on Periyar lake.Overnight at the hotel in Thekkady.


Day {10} : Thekkady – Munnar: (110 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs. Drive )

After breakfast to check out and leave for Munnar - 110 Kms/04 hours through the lush green tea and coffee plantations. On arrival transfer to the booked hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening visit the lakeside surrounded by hills and tea plantations. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at the hotel in Munnar.


Day {11} : Munnar

After breakfast go for full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Kannan Devan, Eravikulam wild life sanctuary where one can find the Ibex (the only place in India where one can find the Ibex). Evening free to enjoy the surrounding of Munnar. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day {12} : Munnar – Cochin : ( 136 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs. Drive )

After breakfast drive to Cochin (Kochi). On arrival transfer to the booked hotel followed by city tour and visits specialist shops selling spices, silks, sandalwood. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.


Day {13} : Cochin – Alleppey: { 64 Kms – Approx 2 Hrs.Drive } ; (House Boat Cruise)

After breakfast at hotel to leave for Alleppey (Alappuzha) and transfer to jetty point to embark on the 'Kettuvalloms' - a traditional rice boat of Kerala, which gives a romantic way to explore the unique web of lagoons, lakes, canals & rivers. Lazy cruising towards Thottapally. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on the Air-conditioned Houseboat.


Day {14} : Thottapally - Kovalam

Arrive in Thottapally. Disembark from houseboat after breakfast. Drive to Kovalam. Visit en-route Haripad Subramanian Snake Temples, which house 500 snake statues. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost, known as the Lighthouse Beach, is the most popular. Kovalam is much sought after for sunbathing, watersports, shopping, catamaran cruising, yoga, meditation and rejuvenating Ayurvedic massages. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day {15} : Kovalam–Trivandrum-Kovalam (20Kms– Approx 0.5 Hrs Drive )

After breakfast, to drive to Trivandrum and go for half a day sightseeing tour to the tourist attractions located in Trivandrum, South India. Drive back to Kovalam and stay overnight in Kovalam hotel.

Day {16} : Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam: (80 Kms – Approx 2 Hrs Drive )

After an early morning breakfast at the hotel to leave for Kanyakumari, popularly known as Cape Camorin. Watch the magical panorama of the setting sun on the horizon as you relax on the Kanyakumari beach. Drive back to Kovalam Hotel for an overnight stay.


Day {17} : Kovalam – Trivandrum

After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum (International) airport to catch flight to onward destination.
